Booking & Payments
Upon booking, a 20% deposit must be paid via bank transfer. The remaining balance must be settled upon arrival via online payment. For direct bookings made through our booking engine, the full amount must be paid either at the time of confirmation or within 30 days of arrival, depending on the selected rate. Payments sent are non-refundable. The host reserves the right to agree on different terms with the guest based on special circumstances. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival require full payment of the agreed amount.
Occupants & Security Deposit
The exact number of guests must be declared at the time of booking; unregistered guests are strictly forbidden (any change will result in a rate adjustment). A security deposit of €100.00 is required upon arrival and will be refunded at check-out provided no damage has occurred to the apartment or its furnishings.
Check-in, Check-out & Luggage Storage
Check-in is from 10:00 AM on the day of arrival, and check-out is by 10:00 AM on the day of departure. Any request for late check-out or temporary luggage storage with key retention must be arranged in advance with the host and is subject to availability based on incoming bookings.
Digital Check-in & Public Safety Laws (TULPS)
Guests must provide an email address and phone number upon booking. Access instructions will be sent after completing the online web check-in. In compliance with Italian Public Safety Law (Art. 109 TULPS), guest identity verification takes place digitally via a selfie taken upon arrival in front of the door to unlock the smart lock via Vikey, replacing the physical presence of the host. Digital signature of house rules via OTP verification and payment of the City Tourist Tax (€2.00 per person/day, April–October, max 5 days) are required during the same process.
Self-Catering Accommodation & Amenities
Nella's Holiday provides independent self-catering apartments. We guarantee thorough cleaning prior to arrival along with an initial welcome supply (courtesy kit, surface sanitizers, and water bottles). As a self-catering property, continuous restocks of supplies and in-stay cleaning are not included during your stay (extra cleaning can be requested for an additional fee).
House Rules, Waste & Building Conduct
• Brushing sand off feet/towels and leaving strollers or personal belongings unattended in building common areas or the entrance hall is strictly forbidden.
• Recycling is mandatory in Cefalù. Guests must follow the local recycling schedule. In case of non-compliance or if a waste bag is rejected by the collection service, a fine of €50.00 will be applied for extraordinary management.
• Pets are not allowed (except service animals).
• Smoking, parties, and events are strictly prohibited.
• Quiet hours are from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
Jurisdiction
Any dispute arising between the parties shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Palermo.
